For Wally

An email from my buddy Michael:

Hi everyone- My nephew Tommy's a pretty cool kid- he's got a big brain and an even bigger heart. His best friend Jake's mom has Multiple Sclerosis, and he is supporting her this year (again!) by doing the National MS Society Walk. This has been a difficult year for both Tommy's family and Jake's family- both were involved in the brush fires of San Diego and both nearly lost everything (the press conference President Bush did in San Diego- the one with the helicopter on someone's front lawn? That was my sister's front yard!). So, even through that adversity Tommy is helping out by doing the MS walk to support Jake's mom. For a 13 year old- that's pretty great. Am I pulling at your heart strings a bit? Yup! I hope it will work! Tommy has pledged to get $500 in donations for his part in the walk, and I am asking all of my friends to help. Go to the page linked below to give $1, $5, $20... whatever you can. Let's help bring MS to an end! If you have a blog and would like to put this link up, I'd really appreciate it. If we can get 500 people to donate $1 each, he'll reach his goal! If you donate, don't forget to sign the honor roll so Tommy knows who helped him out. Thanks very much!
