Giggles...

I have been told many times that I have an infectious laugh. It is an obnoxious cackle that I cannot control and my mother is to blame. When my brother and I were kids, we used to go in the basement when she got a phone call and pretended that we were prisoners of the Wicked Witch. When she started that cackle, we would pretend that this was the end. She was getting ready to put us in her stew or the oven or wherever witches put bad little children. It was a riot.

I love to laugh so I try to do it every day MANY TIMES a day. Having said that, I find there is nothing better and scarier than getting the giggles on stage. Once you start, it is so hard to stop. I have NEVER let out a cackle on stage, but the giggles have NEVER been a problem. Try as I might, there is no quick cure for a case of the giggles especially if the other person has a great laugh. (Lou, Norm, Doug and Marc to name a few...)

Watching other people laugh is horrible and hysterical all at the same time. So, I watch blooper shows constantly to fill that need of stage hysteria. Ricky Gervais (Extras, The Office, Night at the Museum) has the BEST laugh I have ever heard. Getting through a scene with him would be near impossible.

Watch and enjoy.

Gandalf can't keep it together!!

Having a wank?
